The 3 Best New Trader Joe’s Products I Bought This Month

September is a real transition month where we go full speed from summer to fall. This is especially evident at grocery stores like Trader Joe’s, where autumnal displays packed with new and returning products pop up overnight.

Not only is TJ’s hitting fall hard, but the grocery chain is also releasing tons of products in general. On my last visit, I noticed lots of returning fall-themed products (with a few new ones sprinkled in so far), but there have been lots of non-seasonal new items to try this month as well. And a bunch of them are bangers.

I’ve picked my top three—the products I’ve already bought more than once—but I encourage you to get out there and try as many new products as you can. TJ’s is on a roll.

The price point on this new product gave me pause at the store, but since it combines two of my favorite things (roasted broccoli and Caesar), I grabbed it. I’m so glad I did. This Caesar Broccoli Bake Kit is a clever way for Trader Joe’s to repackage things it already sells into a new, inventive product.

The bag comes with broccoli crowns and includes a bag of Caesar dressing, shredded Parmesan cheese, and crunchy breadcrumbs (like the ones in the Caesar salad kit). The instructions have you toss the raw broccoli with most of the dressing before roasting. This is something I’ve never thought to do and is a great idea. The oil in the dressing helps the broccoli brown, and the dressing infuses it with flavor. Add the toppings, bake for a few minutes more, and serve.

To say my husband and I are hooked on these coconut clusters is an understatement. We have to take the bag away from each other to ensure that neither of us eats the entire thing in one sitting. They’re incredibly crunchy, perfectly light, and crisp and satisfying. They’re just sweet enough without being cloying, and the seeds add more crunch and nutty flavor.

We eat them out of hand, but I also put them on my smoothie bowls or just eat them with yogurt. Next time I pick some up, I’m going to combine them with roasted nuts to make a trail mix.

I never thought I’d see the day that I’d recommend a gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza, but here we are. I am not gluten-free—in fact, I love gluten very much, especially when it comes to pizza.

This frozen pizza has no right to be this good. It reminds me of my childhood inhaling frozen Totino’s pizzas, except way better. The toppings go all the way to the edge, and there’s just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The sauce is well-seasoned and isn’t too sweet. The crust, even though it’s made of cauliflower and mozzarella cheese, has a lovely chewy texture with crisp edges.

This pizza is also the perfect size for my toaster oven. I cook it on the bottom rung so that it gets extra crisp. I imagine kids might be into this pizza, making it a good way to sneak a vegetable into their diet.

Gotta go—I’m heading out to TJ’s, and I’m going to grab a couple of these pizzas for emergency meals. I suggest you do the same.
